Robbie Burns A moment in the past…

Robbie Burns is a famous Scottish poet. He was placed in the centre of the Octagon. All of the pictures with Robbie have a pesky seagull on his head because we live near the beach. The English placed a church called St Paul’s Cathedral in 1862 in the Octagon, the Scottish wanted to make them self’s known, for they were the first settlers in Dunedin and so they placed a statue of Robbie Burns in the octagon.
